Once you have changed your password, you will be prompted to download the Microsoft Authenticator application to a working smartphone and set up Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

From 29 July 2024, it is mandatory to install the Microsoft Authenticator app on your mobile device to enable mandatory Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA).

MFA adds an important layer of security that will protect your SR TAFE account from being compromised or hacked.

  • The Microsoft Authenticator App is available for iOS Apple and Android devices.
  • We recommend you set it up using a smartphone and computer.
  • You will need this to maintain your access to SR TAFE online systems like Microsoft 365, Student Portal and Blackboard.
