Complete the 6 week driver trainer program and become job ready to join the transport and logistics industry.
The Heavy Vehicle Driving Operations skill set provides participants real, hands-on experience.
In this training program you will learn how to:
- follow work health and safety procedures;
- carry out inspection of trucks and trailers;
- secure, load and unload cargo of goods;
- apply work fatigue management strategies;
- understanding chain of responsibility.
The driving instruction training component of the program is conducted in a range of conditions and locations, with coaching from qualified and experienced drivers.
On successful completion of the skill set, you can apply to obtain one of the following licences: Heavy Rigid; Heavy Combination; or Multi Combination class vehicle, and may apply for a forklift (LF) licence.

Recreational Skippers Ticket Class (6 student costing)

A person in charge of a registrable recreational vessel powered by a motor greater than 4.5kwp (6hp) is required to hold a Recreational Skipper’s Ticket.
You will gain the theory and practical training to be a safe recreational skipper.
- A power boat is provided for this training.
- Course fees are inclusive of the DoT licence fee.
- You will need to bring primary photo identification such as a driver’s licence.
