This theory and practical workshop based course starts with the growing and roasting of the beans and leads you through the process of extracting the perfect espresso and making the complete menu of espresso drinks.

You will learn, understand and put into practice the basics of espresso coffee. Also included is coffee cultivation and processing, roasting and blending, different coffee styles, coffee bean storage, grinder setting, adjustment and milk texturing and espresso machine cleaning.

This course is perfect if you are looking to start a career in the Hospitality Industry or may be required to make Espresso coffee during your career path. Many venues offer coffees to their clients such as hairdressers and beauty salons, gyms and wellness centres, retail stores and showrooms, car dealerships, event venues and coworking office spaces. This course offers practical training, providing real-world experience in the food service sector making coffee, customer service, and teamwork.

This is a theory and practical course. The theory portion includes coffee cultivation and processing, roasting and blending beans, different coffee styles and coffee bean storage. The practical process begins with grinder setting adjustment, milk texturing extracting the perfect espresso, making the complete menu of espresso drinks and espresso machine cleaning.

Time Commitment â€“ You will need to allocate appropriate time to complete this course. This includes attending classes on-site and/or online as outlined in the study mode; undertake independent study outside of class hours, including private study, assessment preparation, and research and complete assessment requirements.
