Are you interested in a professional wool classing career?

This qualification will provide you with the practical skills and knowledge to sort, classify and grade wool into various types for sale in the market. You will learn skills in applying quality assurance procedures, classing fleece wool, determining wool characteristics, preparing fleece for wool classing, preparing skirtings and oddments and pressing wool. You will also learn about first aid, effective communication, responding to emergencies and safety in the workplace.
Not all study modes are offered at all campuses.  Please check with your local campus for study modes and elective units offered.
This course package has been superseded and will be replaced in 2017.
