South Regional TAFE Honors Outstanding Achievements: 2023 Award Winners Announced

The annual program celebrates the remarkable accomplishments of individuals who have demonstrated exceptional commitment and skill in their respective areas in the 2023 academic year.

This year, South Regional TAFE introduced new awards to acknowledge staff commitment to excellence in customer service, leadership, and innovation in training and assessment.

The awards ceremonies held over two nights at Bunbury Regional Entertainment Centre on 14 March and Albany Entertainment Centre on 21 March, were a momentous occasion for the campuses celebrating the hard work and achievements of students, faculty, and staff.

Mya Morgan was highly awarded with a Certificate of Excellence, SR TAFE Woman in Non Traditional Trade Award, and the overall title of SR TAFE Student of the Year after excelling in her Certificate III in Automotive Electrical Technology.

South Regional TAFE Managing Director Kathy Keay congratulated all nominees and winners, and said they should be very proud of their achievements.

"2023's SR TAFE Award winners epitomise excellence in student achievement, customer service and teaching excellence within vocational education and training.

“Their accomplishments not only reflect the outstanding talent cultivated within our institution but also underscore the dedication of our lecturers to deliver top-tier training.

“I am proud of the part South Regional TAFE plays in fostering a dynamic learning environment and nurturing individual growth and success.”

23 Great Southern students received a Certificate of Excellence for their outstanding results in 2023.
