A qualification in children’s services can be very rewarding and engaging as you become part of a child’s growth and development and help them learn in an environment that is engaging and supporting. Our courses will provide you with the basic skills needed to assist in caring for the social, emotional, physical and educational needs of infants and young children in various care settings – through to the skills and knowledge to manage the operation of a child care centre.

A career in education support is fulfilling and will challenge you as you help to support children to develop confidence, new skills and independence. Education Support courses will enable you to assist teaching staff in schools and provide care and supervision for children with special learning and physical needs from kindergarten to Year 12. You’ll gain the skills to enhance the social, emotional, psychological, cognitive and language development of children.

Community services workers work with individuals, groups and communities to identify what social, emotional, psychological, practical and other supports people need to deal with life’s difficulties and challenges. They encourage and assist people to access those services and advocate social justice. Community Service workers have a powerful effect on the lives of individuals and on the way our society deals with social changes, challenges and issues.
