Description

This course trains novice operators in the skills required to enter the industry as a certified roller operator.

The course covers:

  • Plan and prepare roller operations
  • Operate roller
  • Select, remove and fit attachments
  • Relocate the roller
  • Carry out machine operator maintenance
  • Conduct housekeeping activities

This is an assessable course and you will be required to undertake a:

  • written assessment (approximately 16 questions)
  • practical assessment.

Certification

This is an accredited course. Those successfully completing this course will receive:

Statement of Attainment for the nationally accredited units RIIMPO205D Operate roller/compactor and RIIWHS201D Work safely and follow WHS policies and procedures.
