Description

This course will provide you with the knowledge and skills required to gain a WorkSafe Licence to Perform High Risk Work in Basic Rigging.
Anyone who wishes to obtain a riggers high risk licence from WorkSafe WA is required to complete this training.

The course covers:
    movement of plant and equipment
    steel erection
    placement of pre-cast concrete
    safety nets and static lines
    perimeter safety screens and shutters
    cantilevered crane loading platforms

Entry requirements

Participants must hold hold a Dogman's National High Risk Work Licence (Class DG) or a valid certificate of competency.

This is an assessable course and you will be required to undertake:
    written assessment (approximately 83 questions)
    calculation assessment (approximately 5 questions)
    practical assessment

Participants MUST be a minimum age of 18 years of age on the date of assessment
Steel capped boots

Certification

On successful completion of this course, students will receive a statement of attainment for the following nationally accredited units:

    CPCCLRG3001A Licence to Perform Rigging (Basic Level)

Industry licensing information

This course will equip students with the correct qualifications to obtain a National High Risk Work Licence Class RB.
Students must apply and pay for this license separately with WorkSafe.
