Course in Painters Registration

A new course running at the Bunbury campus in Painters Registration will help local painters gain the skills and knowledge they need to improve their business.

52784WA – Course in Painters Registration starts on Saturday 9 March and will run over consecutive Saturday mornings from 9am to 12.30pm with a break for the Easter holidays.

The course is specifically designed for painters who currently working within the industry and want to gain the State Government registration. 

During the course participants will learn about:

  • Risk Management
  • Estimating Costs
  • Gaining approvals
  • Important information to run a small business

Dates of course 

Saturday mornings from 10am to 12.30pm

  • Unit One- 8 June to 28 June

Units

Legality and Risk Management 
BSBSMB401 – Establish legal and risk management requirements of small business 

 

The following two units will be run at a later date:

Estimating Costs
CPCCBC4004A – Identify and Produce Estimated Costs for Building and Construction Projects 
CPCCPD3021A – Prepare Surfaces for Painting
82985 – PRB Colour and Wallpapering
(Completed apprentice painters are not required to enrol in these units.)
