Bunbury campus renovations

Recent building and refitting work at the Bunbury campus in Robertson Drive has transformed the main reception area into a modern, well-equipped facility for prospective students to find information and enrol in courses.

The stylish contemporary layout includes semi-enclosed pods for privacy, each with outlets for plugging in laptops and recharging media, and individual interview and meeting rooms as well as a bright new reception desk.

South Regional TAFE Managing Director Duncan Anderson said the old reception area, built in the 1970s, had been refurbished over the years, but this remodelling project was necessary to allow staff to serve the increasing number of clients.

“The TAFE campus also houses the Bunbury Jobs and Skills Centre,” Mr Anderson explained.

“This means Bunbury people have direct access here to training and employment services from both South Regional TAFE and JSW Training and Community Services,” he said.

“Students can now enjoy a more modern environment when coming in to the campus to source information, enrol in courses or access support from the Student Services team.”

The reaction from clients since the work was completed last month has been overwhelmingly positive, and staff members are delighted with their up-to-date facilities.

Photographs show Bunbury campus fitness students taking advantage of the new facility in preparation for enrolling in Semester 2.
