CIV TAE

The purpose of this qualification is to develop job-ready skills as a trainer and assessor therefore applicants are required to demonstrate that they meet the entry requirements of the course; these are:

  • Current industry experience and/or qualification in your proposed teaching and assessing area
  • Oral and written communication skills at a minimum year 10 level
  • Internet access and computer literacy including the ability to create documents and conduct internet research
  • Capacity to participate in scheduled classes and to complete approx. 10-15hrs of study per week out of class time

Digital Literacy

For you to make an informed decision and to make sure this course is right for you, please answer the following questions

It is recommended you have access to a computer (laptop or desktop)/ iPad pro with keyboard/Microsoft surface pro or similar as your learning resources are made available through the college Learning Management System (Blackboard) and Microsoft 365. The college also has computers available through the Learning resource Centre during college hours. Expectation is for students to be completing a minimum of 3 units per Semester to support progression through the qualification.
