Important information on COVID-19
At 12:01am on Saturday, 3 July 2021, the Perth and Peel lockdown will end as planned and all TAFE campuses can re-open.
A range of interim restrictions will be in place for three days, until 12:01am on Tuesday, 6 July, and some further transitional restrictions to remain in place until 12:01am on Monday, 12 July - pending ongoing health advice.
Please note while on campus, anyone who has been in Perth or Peel since Sunday 27 June must adhere to the following:
- Wear masks as per the requirements for both the interim and transitional periods. From now until 12:01am Tuesday, 6 July this means wearing masks in all indoor and outdoor places, unless exempt or while doing vigorous outdoor exercise. From 12:01am Tuesday, 6 July to 12:01am Monday, 12 July, masks are mandatory for indoor public venues, unless exempt, but are not required outside where physical distancing is possible.
We encourage people to visit www.wa.gov.au to find more information.
Usual physical distancing and hygiene practices will continue, following the Healthy WA guidelines, particularly those around hand washing, covering coughs and sneezes and staying home if you are unwell.
If you are unwell, awaiting COVID-19 test results or in self-isolation, please do not attend campus.
Please continue to use the SafeWA app, practise good hygiene and COVID-safe habits.
If you have been to one of the sites outlined on the Healthy WA website and are required to quarantine, please do as instructed by health officials.
Regular campus cleaning continues, with particular attention to high contact surfaces. Hand sanitiser is also available across campuses in key locations. There will also be a small supply of masks for staff and students, who have travelled, in the event they require a replacement while on campus.
We will update the website and social media as further advice becomes available.
