Traffic Management Refresher

This course will update your knowledge and skills in Traffic Control and Basic Worksite Traffic Management. Traffic controllers are required to renew their MRWA accreditation after three years of certification.
The course covers:
    Safety requirements
    Work procedures
    Traffic Management Plan
    Traffic Control

Entry requirements

Participants must have:
    A MRWA certificate and/or hold a Statement of Attainment for RIIOHS302A Implement Traffic Management Plan equivalent and RIIOHS205A Control Traffic with a Stop-Slow Bat equivalent
    A letter from their employer to confirm they have been actively working for the last 12 months in Basic Worksite Traffic Management and Traffic Control
    A valid driver's licence, or evidence of previously having held a driver's licence (no learner's permits or moped licences)
    Literacy and numeracy skills to a level that will allow them to complete the written component of the assessment.
    A Whitecard (Safety Awareness Training) in order for attendees to complete the logbook component of the training on a construction site.

On successful completion of this course, students will receive a statement of attainment for the following nationally accredited units:

    RIICOM201D Communicate in the Workplace
    RIIWHS201D Work Safely and Follow WHS Policies and Procedures

School age students
Students who would normally be attending year 12 or below in the current calendar year will be eligible to enrol at the commercial / international rate for this course.

International students
This courses isn’t available to Visa 500 International Students.
