The Hospitality Job Connect Program will fast track your ability to get a job in the industry now
This exciting nationally accredited program includes:
► Masterclasses led by WA a celebrity chef (WA Food Ambassador)
► Meeting and learning from successful local hospitality, food and produce operators
► Introduction to local produce and food specialties of the region
► Learning customer service, barista, responsible service of alcohol and food safety skills
► CV support and work readiness tips
► Statement of attainment for successfully completed units
► Meeting with local hospitality employers to discuss potential job opportunities at the end of the program.
This course includes the following nationally accredited units:
SITHFAB002 – Responsible service of alcohol
SITHFAB005 – Prepare and serve espresso coffee
SITXFSA001 – Use hygienic practices for food safety
GATLTP101 – Learning through Practice 2
This course is free with limited places and lunch is provided each day.
Fees are supported by Tourism Western Australia.
This course has basic PPE requirements (located under Important information)
LLN – Language literacy and numeracy requirements: Adequate literacy and numeracy skills to complete the written component of the assessment. If you have language, numeracy or literacy concerns, please discuss them with us before the course starts.
Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
Participants are required to wear appropriate work wear:
• black work pants
• long sleeve shirt or T shirt (white or black preferred)
• enclosed shoes (black, closed in, non-slip, rubber based sole preferred)
• long hair tied back and no loose jewellery or clothing
• apron (If you have one – please bring it with you)
Participants are encouraged to bring:
• Pencil case and notebook
