This qualification will further develop your practical skills and knowledge in music performance and composition. You will learn about the music industry, copyright and royalties. You can also choose to develop skills in stagecraft, midi music composition, audition and performance skills as a soloist or as part of a group, reading music, performing backup accompaniment, improvisation, operating a mixing console and assessing performing and recording deals.

C Grades in Year 11 WACE General English, and OLNA; or NAPLAN 9 Band 8 C Grades in Year 11 English and Maths or equivalent Certificate II or Certificate III

Successful completion of this qualification provides you with the opportunity to become a performer, songwriter, audio operator, production technician, CD and instrumental retail assistant and instrumental/vocal tutor.
