This qualification will further develop your practical skills and knowledge in the installation and management of small scale networks. You will learn skills in installation, configuration, monitoring and administration of a network, automating network processes, network security You will also learn about effective communication, documentation and general business skills.

School Leaver Non-School Leaver AQF
C Grades in Year 11 WACE General English, and OLNA; or NAPLAN 9 Band 8 C Grades in Year 11 English and Maths or equivalent Certificate II or Certificate III
Job opportunities

Successful completion of this qualification will provide you with the opportunity to gain employment as a network support, network operations support, network operations technician, network technician or a network support technician.

Study pathway

Diploma of Information Technology Networking, or a range of other ICA Diploma qualifications.
