This qualification will further develop your practical skills and knowledge in the installation and management of small scale networks. You will learn skills in installation, configuration, monitoring and administration of a network, automating network processes, network security You will also learn about effective communication, documentation and general business skills.

Your qualification prepares you for roles such as:

Students who complete a Certificate IV in Information Technology can expect to find employment in technical positions, in small to medium businesses that have either general or specific IT requirements.  For example, hardware builds and repairs, software design, web development. The Certificate IV will also provide a solid foundation for continued study in the Information Technology field particularly at Diploma level.
