This qualification provides the skills and knowledge for an individual to be competent in designing, developing and utilising basic multimedia briefs either as an independent ICT specialist or as part of a team. You will gain knowledge in photography and image manipulation, video editing and camera techniques, design and creation of websites and multimedia presentations.

Half-price

The following people will be entitled to a concession rate on the half price course fees under Lower fees, local skills.

  • Persons aged 15—24 years at the time of enrolment (excluding students enrolled at school)
  • Persons and dependents of persons receiving JobKeeper payment
  • Persons and dependents of persons in receipt of services from one of the following Commonwealth support or employment services programs:
    • Jobactive
    • Online Employment Services

  • Persons and dependents of persons receiving the Youth Allowance, AUSTUDY or ABSTUDY
  • Persons and dependents of persons holding:
    • a pensioner concession card or  Health Care Card; or
    • Repatriation Health Benefits Card issued by the Department of Veterans' Affairs
  • Dependents of persons who are inmates of a custodial institution

School Leaver Non-School Leaver AQF
C Grades in Year 11 WACE General English, and OLNA; or NAPLAN 9 Band 8 C Grades in Year 11 English and Maths or equivalent Certificate II or Certificate III

Successful completion of this qualification provides you with the opportunity to gain employment as a Designer, Digital Media Specialist, Graphic/Media Designer, Interaction Media Developer, Media/Instructional Designer, Multimedia Author, Multimedia Designer, Multimedia Developer or Web Designer.

Diploma of Digital Media Technologies, or a range of other Diploma qualifications.
