This qualification will provide you with the skills and knowledge to be competent in a range of tourism sales, operational and tour delivery skills. Work would be undertaken in an office environment where the planning of tourism products and services takes place, in the field where tourism products are delivered or a combination of both. The field includes any destination, local or regional area, tourist precinct, site, attraction or onboard form of transportation.

School Leaver Non-School Leaver AQF
OLNA or NAPLAN 9 Band 8 C Grades in Year 10 English and Maths or equivalent Certificate I or Certificate II
Job opportunities

Successful completion of this qualification provides you with the opportunity to become a sales assistant in a tourist attraction or reservation officer.

Study pathway

Certificate IV in Travel and Tourism or Certificate IV qualifications in any service industry field.
