When you complete this course you will be ready for a career in permaculture. Permaculture is the conscious design and maintenance of agriculturally productive ecosystems which have the diversity, stability, and resilience of natural ecosystems. It is the harmonious integration of landscape and people - providing their food, energy, shelter and other material and non-material needs in a sustainable way.

You will have the skills and knowledge to work either independently or in teams to establish and maintain permaculture systems for private clients, organisations or community entities. This qualification is designed to provide you with a range of practical skills, technical training and communication skills for a career in permaculture, specialising in the areas of nursery, gardening, landscape design and project coordination.
