This qualification provides you with the skills and knowledge to work in the engineering fabrication industry. You usually have to complete an apprenticeship in fabrication trade, which involves both on and off the job training. The off-the-job training is provided through Registered Training Organisations. South Regional TAFE is transitioning this qualification to the new training package in 2022. Students will be enrolled into the new units developed to meet current and future industry needs.

Half-price

This course is part of the Lower fees, local skills initiative. From 1 January 2020 through to 31 December 2025 you'll only pay half the course fees, capped at $1,200; or $400 if you're aged 15—24 or eligible for a concession, plus resource fees and other fees that may apply to your course.
