This qualification provides a pathway to work in various hospitality settings, such as restaurants, hotels, motels, catering operations, clubs, pubs, cafes and coffee shops. Job roles involve mainly routine and repetitive tasks using practical skills and basic industry knowledge, working under direct supervision.

Entrance Requirements
School Leaver Non-School Leaver AQF
OLNA or NAPLAN 9 Band 8 C Grades in Year 10 English and Maths or equivalent Certificate I or Certificate II
Job opportunities

Bar attendant, bottle shop attendant, café attendant, catering assistant, food and beverage attendant, front office assistant, gaming attendant, porter, room attendant.

Study pathway

Certificate III in Hospitality, Certificate IV in Hospitality, Diploma of Hospitality Management.
