This is a bridging/preparatory qualification which enables learners to extend their knowledge and skills in literacy, numeracy, communication, teamwork and technology skills in a creative learning environment.

With a focus also on health, well-being and personal development, this motivating course you will focus on fresh produce – from plant to plate. You will learn about planting, harvesting and cooking. You will be hands-on in your team enterprise project from beginning to end.

This course will prepare you for entry-level roles in a variety of industries including retail, hospitality, community services, aged care and business services. The qualification also offers pathways into further Certificate III-level TAFE courses, including aged care, community services, child care, education support and business.

At the Katanning Campus you will have the opportunity to develop your literacy, numeracy, communication and technology skills in a creative learning environment.  If you have been out of the education system or the workforce for a while, or you would simply like to ease your way into study or employment, this course is for you.
