This Accounting and Bookkeeping Skill Set is designed to deliver practical skills and knowledge to enable participants to undertake a range of administrative tasks that improve their ability to support business management functions. Upon successful completion participants will be able to support the operations of the business by performing a range of bookkeeping tasks including:

  • Completing data entry to produce accurate financial reports
  • Interpret financial reports to make business management decisions
  • Maintain records to meet legal and organisational requirements
  • Prepare and lodge business and instalment activity statements
  • Prepare and lodge payroll

This is an intensive delivery workshop and participants will be required to complete training and assessment tasks outside of delivery.

 

 

This skill set does not have any entry requirements. It is recommended students possess Language, Literacy and Numeracy skills at an ACSF Level 4.

Student will require access to a personal computer, internet, and digital literacy to operate software.
