Description

This course is designed to assist participants gain the skills necessary to prepare work sheets and perform basic work sheet functions. It is expected that you are proficient in using PCs and have some experience with other Microsoft products.

This course covers:
• Spreadsheet terms and concepts
• Opening, closing and saving workbooks
• The Microsoft Excel 2010 environment
• Setting up and navigating a simple spreadsheet
• Entering text, data and formulas including auto sum
• Editing cells
• Formatting rows, columns and cells – including format painter
• Moving, copying and pasting rows, columns and cells
• Autofill
• Simple sorting
• Page setup and printing
