Reconciliation Action Week

South Regional TAFE students and staff are invited to be part of National Reconciliation Week running from 27 May to 3 June.

As part of our Reconciliation Action Plan, which was launched last year and endorsed by the local Noongar Communities, we will be recognising and promoting these days to students, staff and communities.

Information will be available and displays on Reconciliation Week activities will be set up in the Albany and Bunbury campuses.

There will also be Reconciliation information displayed at the reception area of campuses.

The theme for this year’s Reconciliation Action Week is ‘Let’s Take the Next Steps’.

‘In 2017, we reflect on two significant anniversaries in Australia’s reconciliation journey – 50 years since the 1967 referendum, and 25 years since the historic Mabo decision. As we commemorate these significant milestones, we ask all Australians to be a part of the next big steps in our nation’s reconciliation journey.’
