Scholarships

Full-time students may apply for scholarships to ease the cost of their study at the college.

Applications for Semester 2, 2017 are now closed.

 

When applications open for Semester 1, 2018, the Scholarship Application Form will be available on this web page, and all applications must be submitted on this form. South Regional TAFE sincerely thanks the generous sponsors whose valuable assistance encourages participation in training for students facing hardship.

 

Great Southern campuses

A number of scholarships are available in each semester.

Those on offer in Semester 1, 2018 are yet to be confirmed, however, in semester 2, 2017, the following scholarships were offered.

 

Jack Family Trust Scholarship

Twenty scholarships of $500 each for students studying full time at South Regional TAFE’s Albany campus

 

Albany Community Living Association

Total course fees paid for a student of the Certificate IV in Community Services full time at the Albany campus

 

Grist Family Scholarship

Two scholarships of $750 each for students taking the Diploma of Music at the Denmark campus

 

Don McLeish Memorial Scholarship

One scholarship of $700 for a student of the Certificate IV in Mental health full-time at the Albany campus

This scholarship is sponsored by Albany Halfway House Association Inc.

 

Albany Youth Support Association

Two scholarships of $500 each for students studying the Certificate IV in Youth Work full time at the Albany campus

 

Denmark Music Foundation

One scholarship of $500 for a student studying the Diploma of Music at the Denmark campus

 

Western Power Scholarships

 

Western Power generously sponsored 24 scholarships to students at the Bunbury and Albany campuses. These were:

 

12 scholarships of total tuition and resource fees for students of the Certificate II in Electrotechnology (Career Start) Pre-Apprenticeship

 

12 scholarships of $500 for students of the Certificate III in Electrotechnology Electrician
