Australian Veterans’ Children Assistance Trust (AVCAT)

AVCAT helps the children and grandchildren of Australian ex-service men and women by providing education scholarships. AVCAT offers up to 90 new scholarships each year for students enrolled at an Australian university, TAFE college or registered training organisation. These scholarship applications open on August 18, 2018 and close on October 31, 2018. For more information download the flyer.

Young Carer Bursary Program

This program offers 12 month scholarships of $3000 to 333 young carers who are currently studying. Apply for the 2019 bursary online from 25 July-5 September. You’re a young carer if you are aged between 12-25, and you are helping care for a person or people, who are frail aged, experiencing a disability, mental health condition, addiction problem or chronic illness. For more information visit their website.
