Certificate IV in Spoken And Written English - Further Studies

The Certificate IV in Spoken and Written English – Further Studies is an advanced course for learners who have developed some competence in English language and literacy skills and who have had fair degree of formal or informal exposure to English. It is a bridging course for adults from non English speaking backgrounds which further develops your language and literacy skills to undertake further education and training, to seek and maintain employment and participate in the community. It is expected that learners will undertake 200 hours of out-of-class study. This will involve homework and out-of-class tasks set by teachers.

Only an Australian citizen, a permanent humanitarian visa holder and resident in Australia, or a New Zealand Special Visa 444 student who can also provide evidence of a WACE Certificate (completion of Year 12) or equivalent can apply for a loan.
