This qualification reflects the role of individuals who service, diagnose and repair electrical systems and components in vehicles in the automotive electrical service and repair industry.  (NB. You will need to be employed and registered as an apprentice/trainee before you can undertake this course). This course may also be available through Recognition of Prior Learning to eligible applicants.

Your qualification prepares you for roles such as:

Successful completion of the qualification can be used for formal trade recognition in the automotive industry.  This qualification includes automotive air conditioning and refrigeration units, sufficient to cover all of the requirements of Certificate II in Automotive Air Conditioning Technology and will enable the holder to apply for an unrestricted automotive air conditioning licence from ARC.
